I am currently creating a bespoke, hand-painted wallpaper for a residential renovation in Chelmer, Brisbane, inspired by the landscapes, culture and family stories of the Philippines.
Designed specifically for the home, the artwork weaves together tropical plants, islands, traditional banca boats and personal family memories to create a deeply meaningful, one-of-a-kind interior.

I am collaborating with Melbourne-based Proud Mary Stylist to create an original hand-painted dahlia pattern for wallpaper and textiles.
Unable to find the perfect modern floral design, Mary commissioned Tiny Giraffe to create something entirely her own — a joyful, richly layered pattern inspired by her love of dahlias.
Mary longs to have a beautiful Dahlia pattern she can use in her own luxury interior projects and across her own homewares range.

Sustainable Practice
I work with premium, non-woven, paste-the-wall wallpapers and vinyls that are commercial grade and fire rated.
I use a dedicated Australian wallpaper print house that sources durable wallpaper made from 30% recycled materials, 70% renewable cellulose fibres and can be recycled. It is free of lead, heavy-metals and ozone depleting chemicals.
My wallpaper samples and wallpaper orders are made to order and printed on demand. There is minimal wastage as I design every panel to fit your wall dimensions.

Kylie Harber is the artist and designer behind Tiny Giraffe.
Before launching into her business, she worked in landscape architecture and urban design — a design and project management background that continues to shape the way each wallpaper project is approached today.
Rather than viewing walls as isolated surfaces to decorate, Kylie approaches spaces as holistic, lived experiences: spaces that influence atmosphere, emotion, memory and human connection.
This unique combination of creative direction, artistic storytelling and spatial thinking allows her to create murals, patterned wallpapers and public artworks that feel deeply integrated within a space — balancing functional requirements with visual beauty, identity, purpose and emotional resonance.
Inspired by travel, landscapes and the places we leave our hearts, Kylie’s work often explores themes of belonging, memory, nature and connection. From immersive botanical environments to place-inspired illustrated interiors, each project is thoughtfully developed to create spaces people love to be in and remember long after.
