  • From idea to installation, you'll experience what it's like to have your very own custom designed wallpaper. This a custom, exclusive, one-of-a-kind wallpaper pattern created just for you. 

    This service is perfect for residential homes and offices, as well as retail stores, beauty salons, treatment rooms or wellness studio fitouts.

    Once you have purchased, I will contact you to book a time for our consultation. I can meet you in person (only available in Brisbane, Australia) or jump online to chat with you via Facetime or Zoom.

    Inclusions:

    • Gather measurements of your wall (or assist you remotely)
    • Discuss art direction ie. colours and theme
    • Discuss your current/future design scheme and how the wallpaper will complement your interiors 
    • Discuss my art process from beginning to end ie. design, fabrication and installation.
    • Full concept design with 3 options
    • Art creation of your preferred option in my line art style - watercolour and hand lettering can be incorporated
    • 2 rounds of review of the pattern design.
    • Arrange printing (print cost is additional) of matte colour or metallic wallpaper.

    The Process:

    Following our initial consultation, I'll put together three (3) concept designs for you to choose from. Once you select your preferred concept, I will create the wallpaper design for you to review.

    Together we can tweak colours or shapes and finalise the design.
    You are welcome to 2 design revisions. Changes to brief or additional revisions will incur a variation in fee.

    I will arrange a quote for printing - this is an additional cost.

    Australian customers - I have a list of high quality wallpaper installers in your region so that you can feel confident that it will be expertly installed.

    Once installed, you will get to enjoy this wallpaper every day, knowing you're the only one with this beautiful design. Look forward to decorating and renovating with ease!

MY STORY

My name is Kylie and I leave my heart in all the cities and places I travel to.

So I draw them, print them and hang them on my wall, to remember the best moments of my life.

I have permanently itchy feet. If you experience this too, you know how important it is to always be planning the next adventure!

 

My very first overseas trip was to Thailand, Burma and Laos in 2005, at the age of 21. Then a 5 week trip to Europe in 2007.

In 2010, I travelled to the USA for the first time. I spent a week in San Francisco and felt like my soul was 'home'. When I returned home to Brisbane, I started hunting for the perfect art print of the city I missed so desperately. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I decided to create my own.

 

It took me around 25-30 hours to draw all the streets. I carefully traced screenshots of google maps in Adobe Illustrator, playing with line weights, colours and positioning of the text. I printed it on fine art paper in vibrant yellow (the colour I associated with San Fran), and had it professionally framed. 

 

I haven't stopped drawing line art ever since!
